Our Fall Member Meeting &
Family Orchard Ride, Gravel Ride, or Road Ride
Sioux Falls has its very own Napa Valley! After our fall meeting at Wilde Prairie, we'll spend a day in the country exploring orchards and vineyards via bicycle on low volume county roads. Featuring Wilde Prairie Winery, Tucker's Walk Vineyard, Humble Hill Winery, Strawbale Winery, and Hoversten Orchard.
Schedule of events
11:30am - Member Meeting:
Held at Wilde Prairie Winery just north of Brandon. All rides will leave Wilde Prairie after the member meeting.
Noon - Ride Options:
40 mile Road Ride
26 mile Gravel Ride
4-6 mile Family Orchard Ride to Hoversten Orchard - on low traffic gravel roads.
Shuttles available to the pavement from Wilde Prairie for skinny tired road riders.
Registration includes hors d'oeuvres at Wilde Prairie, and dessert at Hoversten's Orchard.
Lunch available for $5.00 at Tucker's Walk.
Road and gravel riders may also stop at Humble Hill Winery and Strawbale Winery if they would like.
FAB will have aid stations for water, but bring along a few bucks if you'd like to make any purchase at the orchard or wineries.
FAB will have SAG and support vehicles available.
Free for FAB Members and just $10.00 registration for non-members.
