Take the Trail Challenge!
On Saturday, June 29th, let’s celebrate outdoor recreation in Sioux Falls. Falls Area Bicyclists along with Sioux Falls Area Running Club, Sioux Empire Paddlers, and the Sioux Falls Skatepark Association encourage you and your family to get outside.
Challenge Options:
Full Challenge - Complete the entire 20 mile paved bike trail loop. Optional 10 mile extra credit loop is available.
Half Challenge - We will again provide a shuttle service back to the start from the Elmen Trailhead at roughly the 10 mile mark.
Name Your Own Challenge - Just get outside and enjoy the day and support outdoor recreation in Sioux Falls.
Event Details
Packet Pick-up Friday June 28th. 5:30pm - 7pm. Cherapa North parking lot. (Enter from 6th St into Cherapa parking lot and our table will be right in parking lot.) Come and pick up your packet and why not stay awhile? Walk over to Ode restaurant and have supper on the patio. Than walk over to Levitt and hear some great music.
Saturday, June 29th
Start: Cherapa Place - Downtown Eastbank (Enter from 6th St)
6:30-10:00 am - Check-in/Day of Registration
Update: We will start letting people leave at 7am to help beat the heat. We just ask that you to start your challenge between 7:00am & 10am.
End: Raven Parking Lot - Food Trucks, sponsor tables & finisher party.
Course closes at 2:00pm
Adventure Passport
Fill your Adventure Passport with stamps at the many fun and informational aid stations conveniently spaced around the trail.
Adult Registration Options:
$20 After June 1st - register by June 30th to guarantee a finisher neck gaiter.
$25 - Day of Event Registration
Kids under 18 register for free with adult registration! Make it a family celebration. We had so many families complete the bike loop together for their first time last year.
All registrations receive a finisher Trail Challenge Neck Gaiter in the event packet.
Proceeds from the Trail Challenge will benefit these outdoor groups in Sioux Falls: Falls Area Bicyclists, Sioux Falls Area Running Club, Sioux Empire Paddlers, and Sioux Falls SkatePark Association.
